International Internships – Live with Local Families for Full Cultural Immersion Experience!
Global Service Corps (GSC) offers health, education, HIV/AIDS, sustainable agriculture/hunger relief, and Buddhist immersion internships in Tanzania and Thailand. These internship programs provide service-learning and in-depth cultural immersion experiences, including homestays and language lessons. The projects emphasize skills building, grassroots collaboration, and cross-cultural understanding. Health and HIV/AIDS interns work alongside health professionals and educators in hospitals, healthcare facilities, schools, and community organizations. Sustainable agriculture/hunger relief interns ( Tanzania) work with farmers' groups to implement organic and sustainable agricultural projects. Education interns ( Thailand) teach English in local schools, colleges, health clinics, hospitals, orphanages, and monasteries. Participants with an interest in Buddhism may teach English to novice monks in monasteries. At the monasteries, they may join in daily activities including meditation, and be mentored in Buddhism. Participants live with families who generously introduce their culture and customs through excursions and daily interaction, providing a unique cultural experience not to be forgotten!

Organization of American States Student Internship Program
The OAS Student Intern Program is designed for junior, senior and graduate students at the university level to allow them to work within their fields of study. The Program although unpaid is very competitive; in order to be selected, students must have at least a 3.0 GPA, a good command of two of the four official languages of the Organization: English, French, Portuguese and Spanish. Interns are required to attend a mandatory cycle of weekly meetings with senior officials to provide them with a clear insight into overall OAS activities.
